Really nice coffee spot in downtown Fort Wayne. I tried the cortado and the Creme Brûlée French toast which was delicious, it comes with a side of yogurt and granola with honey which was a nice surprise. This place is very cozy and decorated very well. The next day I tried their cold brew to go, it was smooth and not acidic at all. Love the paper straws! The employees were very kind, today I had a very sweet young woman who helped me choose a few macaroons.

We stopped one afternoon at Fortezza
Coffee for cappuccino. This was our first visit. The staff was polite and very helpful with suggestions, talking us into an apricot almond bar treat. The wait after ordering was short and we had our coffee and desert.
The cappuccino was perfect, complete with the foam heart on top. A work of art. The apricot almond bar was delicious.
Looking forward to future visits to Fortezza Coffee. -

Fortezza is great for meeting up with friends, bringing a book to read, or just enjoying a cold (or hot) drink.
Plenty of seating inside with a couple tables outside. They have a bar area to try their beers and there's always great new local art up on the walls.
Drinks are comparably priced to Starbucks. And it's a very cool atmosphere with a mix of old and modern-styled furniture and beautifully carved ceilings. -

Amazing quality coffee! Their espresso is so yummy and their muffins are delicious!! The atmosphere is calm and collective! The baristas are always chill and kind. I highly recommend this downtown highlight!

A lovely little coffee shop in downtown Fort Wayne!
Plenty of seating available at both tables and the bar (outside seating is also available out front of the shop). They also have outlets and free WiFi, which makes it great if you are looking to study or work for a while. Also great place to grab a drink with friends and just hang out.
Their menu is great! Tons of coffee and beer to choose from, as well as an assortment of baked goods (macaroons, scones, muffins, etc.). During the morning/early afternoon they also have a menu with some heavier food options (think granola, French toast, sandwiches). Their Chai is to die for and their cinnamon rolls are amazing (ask for them to be warmed up!). They have multiple options for milk alternatives, including oat and soy milk.
Would definitely recommend to all looking for a great little locally owned coffee shop!
